More commonly known as Drones.
Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) have emerged as a useful tool for photography, videography, and mapping. Did you know that all RPAS over 250 grams are viewed by Transport Canada as aircraft, and thus are subject to the same rules and regulations as most traditional aircraft?
In this course you will cover the eight key areas of aviation required by drone pilots operating in Canada. Upon completion of this course each student will have gained the knowledge required for completion of the Transport Canada online exam for Basic drone operators.
Drones 101
Never flown a drone? No problem. This course is designed for those with no prior knowledge of drones or aviation. By the end of the course you will be an expert in drone regulations in Canada and have a strong foundational understanding of the greater aviation community.
